Power/Thrash Metal Kenamaan asal Phoenix, Arizona ni juga termasuk band bangkotan amrik dan nama band ini mencuat keras saat Mantan Bassis-nya, Jason Newsted bergabung bareng Metallica pasca meninggalnya Cliff Burton, band yang eksis sejak tahun 1982 memang cukup dikenal dan disegani di Amrik. seperti halnya Band laen, band ini juga sering mengalami pasang surut Formasi dan kini menyisakan personil asli, Vokalis Eric "A.K." Knutson yang sempet cabut dari band sejak 2001 dan memutuskan balik lagi tahun 2002 hingga sekarang bersama dengan Gitaris Michael Gilbert yang sempet cabut tahun 1999 dan memutuskan bergabung kembali atas ajakn Eric tahun 2010 tetep bersemangat mengibarkan terus nama Flotsam and Jetsam setelah absen mengeluarkan materi baru sejak album " Dreams of Death " tahun 2005 dan setelah itu mereka cuman merilis album live, DVD serta album Boxset. keinginan untuk kembali memainkan lagu2 era album " When the Storm Comes Down " Hingga " Unnatural Selection " menjadi Motivasi Ditulisnya lagu2 disini dech bagi gw. Perpaduan gaya Heavy metal dengan sentuhan Power Metal yang digabungkan dengan beberapa sentuhan Thrash Metal pada Riff cukup lumayan terasakan disini. track awal " Hypocrite " lumayan menggebrak dengan semangat baru mereka yang ga mau ketinggalan, gaya Thrash Metal Bay area emang kental banget dilagu ini. karakter Vokal eric juga masih bertenaga walo Usia ga menghalangi-nya, cool !! " Take " simple dan Menguras enerji Eric dengan karakter Vokalnya, " The Cold " lumayan mendinginkan dengan Mellow part Balada, dan " Black Cloud " kembali mengkoarkan elemen2 Thrash Metal dengan sentuhan Modern Sound yang Tebal. Bahkan lagu " Blackened Eyes Staring " terdengar paling Cadas disini selain Track " Always ", secara keseluruhan Konsep musik yang mereka tawarkan juga lumayan ga mengecewakan jika elo bandingkan dengan materi " Dreams of Death ", Rilisan ini emang Pas dengan gaya Musik sebenarnya Flotsam and Jetsam yang tetep memiliki solo2 Gitar Melodius serta Ciamik buat elo Nikmati. Album Ke-10 ini tetep menjadi Optimisme berkibarnya nama band ini yang tengah Redup. we believe it's one of our best and heaviest! We know that it's a much anticipated release by our truest fans!
