Beberapa waktu lalu sejak diketahui Media, Khabar yang bikin heboh plus geleng-geleng kepala, kalo ada seorang Ibu yang tidak lagi muda alias Ibu-ibu yang berusia 67 Tahun, menjadi Vocalis Band Grindcore ! meski sempat menganggapnya hanya candaan belaka atau Dagelan yang dibikin Netizen, kayaknya dunia semakin yakin akan Info Kontroversial-nya. kenapa Hal ini memang benar dan elo harus percaya ??? ketika baru-baru ini seorang Gitaris Band Grindcore/Crust Kanada, Corrupt Leaders dengan Nickname " RainForest " punya Obsesi kuat dan tidak sekedar bikin Gimmick Kontroversi aja, RainForest mengajak Ibu-nya sendiri untuk bikin band dengan nama THE GRINDMOTHER bersama juga rekan band awal, Drummer Tyson Apex untuk memulai Proyek yang bisa dibilang Gokill ini. bagaimana seorang Ibu yang udah hampir memasuki usia kepala 7 diajak gila-gilaan lagi memanajemen Power serta emosional, bukan ingin menjadi anak durhaka, RainForest terbukti berhasil membuka mata dan mematahkan persepsi main-main sejak memproklamirkan resmi band yang mengusung Typical Grindcore. The Grindmother sendiri memang menjadi Reinkarnasi Obsesi dan Inspirasi baru dari Corrupt Leaders di EP terbarunya " Grindmother " yang disini, RainForest sudah mengajak Ibu-nya sendiri untuk menggerinda, Edan !!! Seperti perasaan penasaran tinggi Gw saat pertama kali mengetahui Informasi Band, akhirnya terjawab tuntas ketika mendengar sendiri Debut EP " Age Of Destruction " Dan 3 Kata pertama yang terucap " WHAT THE HELL !!! " Damn Beautiful, Heavy, and Fast white Noise !!! rasanya ga percaya banget kalo Usia Nenek-nenek masih memiliki Power Mengerang Hebat seperti ini. Check track pertama " Age of Destruction ", meski tidak menggunakan Typical Growl yang berat Nenek Grindmother cukup berteriak kencang mengikuti Pattern tempo Grinding yang cepat dan Berat. penyajian Komposisi Grinding hadir dengan rasa " Old School " banget era Napalm Death " Scum ", Unholy Grave, Parade Of The Lifeless, Gride hingga Brutal Truth, dengan sound yang masih Vintage banget tersusun dengan karakter yang sangat Natural. sehingga seperti mendengar sendiri performance mereka on The Stage ! Aransemen Catchy Riffing kerap terimbangi dengan Skill Drumming yang Powerfully dan Liar ! dan Syalut ga henti-hentinya memang untuk Sang Nenek yang Rela berteriak-teriak hebat mengikuti Keinginan Anak tercinta-nya hehehe ... mungkin, sekilas mendengar Karakter bernyanyi-nya Grindmother, tidak terkesan Usia berpengaruh, buktinya Range-range kuat masih dilahap dengan rapat, Great ! tidak mendominasi dengan Part yang serba cepat dan Meledak, The Grindmother masih Kompromi dengan Catchy Part sentuhan Kental Hardcore & Punk, I Like This Grindcore Type ! Jauh dari kesan membosankan, The Grindmother tau banget caranya memanjakan Fans disegala Suasana. The Music is as bland as it can get, it's very Simplistic, Harsh, and Straight to the Point. Total Hampir selama 13 Menit kita disuguhi sajian Nenek yang masih ga tahu diri memasuki di Konsep Musik penuh Enerji ini hahahaha, 10 Lagu yang sangat jauh dari Kesan Boring, apalagi Natural Sound Grinding-nya makin bikin Gw Falling in Love terus. I was still left Asking myself the Question of why I even Bothered giving this Album a listen. Probably, it was because of all the Hype Surrounding this Terrible Mediocrity. Basically, all I can say is that this album does nothing in conveying some sort of musical Experience Along with the Crushing song writing, the Primitive, Rough, Dirty, Fast, and Absolutely Inaccessible sound the original Blueprint for Grindcore and Death Metal.
