Dark Tranquillity (DT) memang tau hari ini bukan lagi tentang memamerkan skill untuk sebuah karya kelihatan bagus, tapi tentang lebih bagaimana menghidangkan racikan oriental kepada audiens lintas genre metal bisa saling menikmati tanpa harus selling out ! Sejak materi " Skydancer ", Gw adalah salah satu fans Melodic Death Metal asal Gothenburg, Swedia setelah nama In Flames telah bikin Gw boring dengan Progres-nya. meski tidak jalan ditempat, DT juga telah menunjukkan pergeseran konsep-nya sejak materi " Projector ", ketika DT menarik Keyboardis & Electronic Martin Brändström. DT masih konsisten dengan warna aslinya yang mereka sepakati sejak tahun 1991. deretan diskografi mereka tak pernah ada yang ketinggalan, meski ga Gw tulis semua, DT adalah band yang turut membawa Spirit kecintaan Gw dengan Extreme musik yang makin terdengar manis. " Atoma " sendiri adalah penantian hampir 4 tahun DT setelah merilis " Construct " tahun 2013, DT hanya melanjutkan dengan merilis Live album serta beberapa Single. sambil mengenalkan pemain Bass baru Anders Iwers (Ceremonial Oath, Tiamat, Ex.
