Jon Zig Memang lebih dikenal sebagai Salah Satu Seniman Lukis Airbrush dengan Karya karya Killer-nya untuk beberapa Band Brutal Di Scene Death Metal. Selain Piawai Melukis, Rupanya Jon Memiliki Ketertarikan tersendiri terhadap Musik Brutal tentunya lalu diputuskan pasti membentuk Band Brutal ! lalu Lahirlah Images of Violence ini sejak Tahun 2003 membuat Kesibukannya semakin bertambah dalam Hidupnya, belum lagi keterlibatannya didalam Proyek Sarcolytic bersama Drummer Ricky Myers nya Disgorge juga. Untuk pertama kalinya demo " Burnt " tahun 2003 langsung menancapkan eksistensi Images of Violence (IOV) yang kemudian disusul dengan EP " Cadaverous Recomposition " menempatkan Posisi Jon sebagai Salah Satu Musisi Yang diperhitungkan selain membuat Corat coret Lukisnya. apalagi Respon Full Album pertama " Degrade the Shapeless " Tahun 2006 semakin mengukuhkan Eksistensi-nya menjadi salah satu Penghuni Amrik Brutal Death Scene berbahayanya.
