Setelah setiap hari dan setiap kali mendengarkan stuff cadas terbaru selalu saja Gw dihadapkan dengan stigma yang Stereotype tentang Genre dan Konsep yang diusung band2 Death Metal Khususnya, dan Endingnya Gw merasa ingin mencari " Warna " baru untuk sedikit memanjakan Kuping Death Metal Gw hehehe ... Old school American death metal, grindcore, deathgrind, goregrind. Fueled by Jack Daniels, PBR, and old horror movies adalah sedikit yang menarik perhatian dengan Gw, GRISLY AMPUTATION ini siap bikin fresh Adrenalin gw dengan sajian Gaya Death Metal Brutal dengan sentuhan Old school yang terasa banget pada struktur dan aransemen musiknya, Ini seperti perpaduan antara Anal Blast, Autopsy, Death, Reinfection, Disgorge, Suffocation, Last Day Of Humanity, Rompeprop, Cock And Ball Torture, Cannibal Corpse, hingga Inhume. Band asal Pittsburgh, Pensylvania, Amrik ini memang New Comer sejak terbentuk tahun 2010 eksis mengusung perpaduan antara old school American death metal/grindcore/deathgrind/goregrind en itu terasa banget pada sentuhan sound yang " Raw and Rusty " Banget ! Track pertama " Woodshed Wetdreams " yang dimulai dengan sebuah Intro Horror tentang Mutilasi dan pembunuhan sadis, jeritan Menyayat hati meminta Tolong membuka pembantaian pertamanya ( Nice Intro .ed ), Arrrghhhhhh !!! dan gempuran Death/Grind standard gaya Cannibal Corpse lama dipadu dengan karakter Anal Blast juga Style Goregrind yang old School banget ! You know with all the death metal/grindcore bands out there, many will try different things. Multiple Vokal Growl dan Scream dipadu menjadi satu menjadi salah satu elemen Yang mendominasi setiap licking Cadas-nya, alunan Harmonisasi Riffing gelap serta pukulan drumming standard menggerinda. The vocals aren’t even very rewarding they are pretty much all guttural and sometimes become almost speaking parts. and the kid proceeds to be obsessed and think he is the shit. Unfortunately, I thought this was rather amusing myself for a few weeks, but then it hit me, this shit is just that shit. Raw Sounding Riffing dan Typical Drumming yang masih " Kaku " memang lebih banyak membawa kita di gaya sounding Era 90-an pertumbuhan Band2 Horror Goregrind jamannya Rot, Impetigo hingga Haemorrhage. walau tidak ada yang terlalu istimewa tentang skilling member band ini, tapi mereka tetap cukup berhasil eksis membuka jalan kembali ditengah arus derasnya pertumbuhan karakter musik modern. 8 lagu berdurasi total 26:47 tetap membutuhkan Suasana enjoy menikmati gaya Old school Death Metal. meskipun juga kurang menyuguhkan irama yang meledak ledak di era millenium. The guitars are dense and slow moving like thunder shaking the sky apart, but as for being fastly, the guitars instead focus more or less solely at creating a thick barrier of shifting riffs and build up momentum, that usually leads to a neat lead. The bass guitar however, is very much tangled into the guitars, being somewhat difficult to entirely discern between the two. But if paying attention, it is heard, and while not doing anything noteworthy, it does add another layer of density to the music. As for the drums, they play out in a fashion typical for Anal Blast, mostly following the guitars, but that is not bad, so to say. The proficiency of the overall drumming is very much vital to creating the heavy atmosphere of the music. As for the vocals, they are deep and commanding, yet easy to decipher. They do lack a little in terms of variety, but can still be enjoyable, though a little weak. It may not be perfect in every regard, but when you thing about it, what is perfect anyway?
