Secara Kebetulan banget Gw pertama kali mengenal Band Death Metal yang mengusung konsep lirik tentang Satanisme, Occultisme dan Anti tuhan ini ya pada album pertama ini yang beberapa kali artwork kaset-nya sempat bikin gw semakin penasaran untuk membelinya hehehehe ... dan memang tepat dugaan Gw yang cuman bermodal Gambar cover keren aja kalau band ini adalah band cadas hahahaha !! ... pas gw buka segel kaset gw agak kaget juga dengan kemasan artwork disleeve dalam kaset ini banyak sekali gw temukan Simbol Setan dan hanya menampilkan 4 member-nya ( tanpa Kehadiran Drummer Ace Alonzo dan Bassis Joe Lewis ) langsung aja Gw play di tape Deck gw disuguhin oleh Track awal " War In Paradise ", sebuah Track Panjang yang memakan Durasi 7:44 menit ini menjadi Opening Track yang sudah  menampilkan Hitam Konsep Musikal band. "War In Paradise" has a deceptively simple and catchy riff, really heavy when combined with the pitter-patter bass drums. Fuck, this is like Nemesis/Candlemass' "Black Messiah" played as death metal! And the part with Jeff screaming "DIE! DIE! DIE!" is simply great. I can remember blasting this at my very Catholic ex-girlfriend way back in the day to piss her off! apalagi sayatan Keyboard Synthesizer semakin menambah Hitam atmosfir musik yang mereka ciptakan disini. kehadiran Drummer Ace disini diinformasikan hanya sebagai additional Player drum saja, Ace yang dari band Self Destruct berperan sebagai Drummer Rekaman saja. dan yang menjadi memorable lagi pada track ini adalah beberapa gaya Rythym Guitar yang keren kerap ditampilkan di Refrain part dengan gaya Dark Riffing banget, this is REAL death metal! Take the best parts of Possessed, Hell Awaits-era Slayer, early Death, early Samael, Morbid Angel, Mercyful Fate, Candlemass, Black Sabbath, and roll it into one pissed off bombshell, and you've got this album. komposisi musiknya termasuk simple dan easy listening untuk dinikmati yang jelas dialbum full pertama ini Vital Remains masih tampil easy listening jikalau Gw bandingkan dengan materi2 baru mereka yang terdengar lebih " Berat " The music is usually pretty simple, with the musicians playing just well enough to give it a rough yet competent edge. The drums sound especially loud and mean, just the way I love them. beberapa Solo Gitar cantik yang banyak mengingatkan dengan gaya bermain Trey Azaghtoth-nya Morbid angel kerap bertebaran dialbum ini sebagai salah satu Ritual khusus Aransemen lagunya menciptakan elemen pemuja kegelapan-nya. There are a few really bizarre samples thrown in at the beginning of songs, and dark fucking keyboards where they are needed. Now, those are used to some really amazing effect. " Of Pure Unholiness " yang dimulai selama 1 menit dengan Intro Keyboard bernuansa Horror yang kemudian disambung dengan Standard death metal yang asyik buat Headbanger. beberapa gaya Lick Riffing yang unik sangat terasa juga. The music on Let Us Pray is tight as can be, and everything falls into place nicely. seperti mendengar kembali kedasyatan awal band2 satanic idealism kayak Morbid Angel, Nocturnus, Black Sabbath, Samael, etc, Vital Remains Mengemasnya menjadi lebih beringas dan Hitam lagi hampir disemua Strukturnya yang tidak membuat kesan Boring ini. Everything about this album sounds amazing. The musicianship was some of the best on this album. Jeff Gruslin did a stunning performance on vocals, Tony Lazaro and Paul Flynn are both great rhythm guitarists and great shredders, Joe Lewis did an amazing job on bass, and Ace Alonzo did fairly well on drums (even though he didn't do one blast-beat on the entire album). Overall, this album is one of the greatest albums Vital Remains ever produced, it's definitely worth listening to and buying, and it's one of their most underrated. PRAISE THE SATANIC OR DIE !!!!!!!!!!!!
