Denmark one sole Purpose - to play Heavy and Groovy death metal Emphasis has always been on Heaviness, Groove, good songs and Catchy Riffs which has over the years Solidified them in the DM scene. drastis memang sejak materi terakhir " Rejoice in Vengeance " ditahun 2012, DAWN OF DEMISE (DOD) hampir tidak terdengar produktifitasnya selain skedul padat mereka dibeberapa tour ditambah band harus kembali menelan pil pahit kehilangan drummer Simon Blaabjerg dan Gitaris Thomas Egede. dibalik padatnya jadwal tour, DOD diam-diam sudah mempersiapkan materi album, dan inilah penantian selama 4 tahun, dan Unique Leader Records masih menaungi untuk kontrak ke-2 nya merilis full album ke-4, sebuah materi yang masih kita dengar kekuatan DM Hebat dengan sentuhan Groovy dan Catchy Headbang Riff, well Unique Leader Records memang penuh terisi dengan band-band bertegangan tinggi dalam menyusun tempo tematis DM yang meledak, tapi kayaknya DOD dan Internal Bleeding bisa menjadi pengecualiannya. are the Mighty Suffocation as stated, Inveracity, Abominable Putridity, Pyrexia, and old Dying fucking Fetus still they are ! This has Groove and Breakdowns, but not "JUMP DA FUKK UPP " nu-metal Groove, and nowhere near the Worthless Homoeroticism that is Deathcore. The Breakdowns are just that - Slowing down, getting simpler. Groovy as shit, Modern, Cleanly Produced ! materi perkenalan dengan 2 member baru, Drummer Bastian Thusgaard dan Gitaris Astor Kristian Palsson rupanya masih menjadi pilihan tepat ketika DOD masih ingin mempertahankan seutuh-nya Konsep dramatis breakdown DM. tetap menggandeng Produser kawakan di Denmark Scene, Tue Madsen, DOD masih menaruh kepercayaan penuh hasil tangan dinginnya siap melanjutkan invasi ke-2nya di Antfarm Studios. menurut Gw, materi album ini masih terdengar sound yang berat dengan menitik beratkan tempo Groovy dominan menguasai hampir struktur aransemen, dari track pertama " Sadistic Gratification ", DOD sudah konsis sekali jika Surprise-nya kali ini ga perlu di identifikasi dengan Package musikal DM yang meledak-ledak. elo tinggal duduk manis sambil mengikuti breakdown tempo ajib yang bakal menggoyang sepenuhnya hampir disepanjang komposisi. jelas bergabungnya drummer Bastian Thusgaard masih diandalkan untuk menciptakan tempo-tempo Ajojing oleh DOD. skema aransemen yang terasa dinamis, tidak melulu dengan Hantaman tempo yang cepat dan berat, namun lebih memanjakan kita dengan Kekuatan DOD sejak dimulai tahun 2003 silam. Duet mantap Riffing Martin Sørensen dengan Astor Kristian Palsson dapat dipastikan masih memegang kendali Struktural aransemen dan Low Growling Scott Jensen tetap yang terbaik ! The Riffs are primarily Palm Muted power chords, with a few Tremolo Picked pieces Scattered throughou with Picking and rhythm is what makes DM more Great. perlahan mulai terbakar emosional, " Destined to Suffer " sajian lebih tajam menggilas bakal sedikit meledak dengan beberapa Blastbeat Part. tapi jangan kuatir jika DOD akan kontinyu membenturkan terus kecepatan menghancurkan, karena masih mendominasi Karakter Band dengan Pukulan Groovy serba ciamik. bisa jadi kontrol musisi dalam Skill tetap menjadi perhitungan matang lewat perpindahan teratur serta Dinamis membentuk kekuatan DOD makin cool dengan keseluruhan 11 track berdurasi 37 menitan cukup untuk mematahkan batang leher melalui Konspirasi komposisi ajib. meski (lagi) menurut Gw tidak banyak kejutan yang terjadi disini, " The Suffering " masih menjadi Agresi enerjik sejak karakter matang " Rejoice in Vengeance " membuka era serius DOD. membosankan? ini tentang bagaimana kalian menikmati setiap ketukan dan mencerna bar menjadi Sajian membakar sekaligus menyegarkan ketika telinga dan Mood kita terlalu melemah digempur dengan sajian yang serba rapat dan meledak hebat. it seems as though the modus operandi of this tired technical NYDM style dictates that any sort of riffage or innovation beyond the first octave of notes is simply not permissible. These lethargic rhythm-based chord passages are certainly not entertaining or catchy like say, a Cianide riff, cause any worth to be found in these riffs, there is no Subtle Genius or Esoteric Principle behind them that applies to the Aforementioned material. Dawn Of Demise still mixes up their songs with Simply, Brutal riffs, and Moderate Complexity, but not too Complex where you get lost in the Damnated song.
