Memang seperti tidak akan pernah ada habisnya Gw menulis tentang album2 kompilasi Rilisan Nuclear Blast Records di awal Perkembangan Musik cadas era 90-an, karena Label ini seperti memanfaatkan kondisi yang ada disaat era keemasan Music Cadas sedang melaju keras dalam Industri Musik Internasional. dan strategi rilisan seperti ini kayaknya juga sudah bukan rahasia umum lagi untuk dilakukan oleh sebuah label dalam mempromosikan Rilisannya. melanjutkan seri berikutnya, Kompilasi Populer yang banyak pula mendongkrak Label dalam hal pemasaran ini, Nuclear Blast Records masih mempercayakan sepenuhnya pada Kompilasi Legendarisnya " Death... Is Just The Beginning ", dan sudah Gw review untuk Seri Pertama dan Kedua-nya, kini saatnya pula ga bakalan gw lewatkan untuk seri Ke-3 nya, semakin terus berkembang dari segi kemasan dan konten dari sebelumnya, Kini Label Metal Raksasa dengan distribusi Internasional yang bermarkas di Jerman pimpinan seorang Markus Staiger ini melanjutkan edisi ke-3 nya memasuki Tahun 1995, dimana tahun itu juga, Label ini punya banyak rilisan yang dirilis secara masal. dan semakin menambah Reputasi Kompilasi dihadirkan dalam kemasan Spesial Dobel CD ! ga cuman itu saja, Versi Video VHS-nya atau Video Home System merupakan format film paling laris dan paling bertahan lama untuk kelas kaset (pake pita magnetik) dan Kehadiran format Betamax dengan versi kaset yang lebih kecil pun tak bisa menyurutkan popularitasnya sampai kemudian ia dilindas oleh kehadiran digitalisasi video dalam format keping cakram padat (Compact Disc). VHS yang pita-nya bisa kusut, pitanya bisa berjamur, nontonnya harus sequensial, butuh peralatan khusus dan mahal untuk proses editing akhirnya harus mengalah pada jaman dan kemudian perlahan punah dengan sendirinya memiliki Format Resolusi gambar 352×240 pixel (NTSC) dan 352×288 (PAL/SECAM) well itu sedikit gambaran aja hehehehe, sebuah Video VHS yang memuat 15 lagu 12 Band melalui seleksi materi sebelumnya yang berjumlah 15 Lagu. dan untuk kesempatan ini lebih dulu gw akan menulis untuk Format Double CD yang memuat total 34 lagu ! memang menjadi sesuatu yang wajib gw jabarkan satu persatu lagunya biar Kita semua akan sedikit nostalgia dengan Rilisan Kompilasi Ke-3 " Death... Is Just The Beginning " ini yang era 90-an Versi Kaset Pita-nya masuk pasaran Asia termasuk Indonesia menjadi 2 Part. well memorable deh kalau menceritakan semua materi disini, karena gw akan sedikit memutar otak untuk mengingat memori masa silam bagaimana untuk pertama kalinya gw mengenal ini hehehehe .. memuat beberapa materi CD band Rilisan dan Kolega-nya termasuk beberapa Track yang belum pernah dirilis atau di Publikasikan sebelumnya. pada CD pertama Track awal dimulai oleh BENEDICTION dengan " The Grotesque " nya yang diambil dari Materi Ep ke-2 " The Grotesque / Ashen Epitaph " tahun 1994, salah satu Pioner death metal terbesar asal Birmingham, England terbentuk sejak tahun 1989 semakin mantap setelah mempunyai 3 album penting di label ini. disini kualitas bermain Musik Benediction lebih terdengar matang dengann ciri khas death metal keren pada soundingnya, karakter vokalis Dave Ingram memang Powerfully abis bahkan lebih baik dari Karakter Vokalis pertamanya, Mark Barney Greenway yang lebih Match dengan Konsep Genre Grindcore. dan di Ep ini Benediction mencoba memperkenalka Progresi matangnya dengan 2 lagu terbaiknya ( yang Juga secara Ekslusif dibuatkan Official Video Clip-nya yang dikenalkan di Kompilasi Video Band Versi VHS-nya .ed ) " The Grotesque " dan " Ashen Epitaph " sementara 3 lagu berikutnya hanya lagu lama yang direkam pada salah satu Penampilan Panggung Benediction. sebuah Track yang menampilkan permainan Death Metal Catchy Headbanging dengan straightforward Death Metal with a hefty helping of Thrash Touching ! The crowd doesn't really seem to be that excited to be there, though. ....AMORPHIS dengan " Forgotten Sunrise " tetap menebarkan Gaya Melodic Death/doom Yang masih kental sebagai konsep Utama band Terbesar di Finlandia Scene sejak terbentuk tahun 1990, dan tentunya elo masih menyimpan album terbaik awal mereka " The Karelian Isthmus ( 1992 ) " khan? kini ditahun 1994, Band Melodic Death dengan sentuhan kental Doom Metal Dinamis ini mencoba memperkenalkan materi CD ke-2 Nya " Tales from the Thousand Lakes " yang akhirnya disebut2 sebagai karya terbaik ke-2 Amorphis sepanjang karir bermusik, dengan lirik lagu banyak mengangkat Tradisi Legenda Finlandia, Kalevala, Amorphis masih menampilkan Gaya Progressive/Death/Doom Metal yang fantastis ! album garapan Enjiner dan produser Tomas Skogsberg, pemilik studio rekaman terkenal Sunlight Studio yang ngetop mencetak beberapa masterpiece klasik album dari Dismember, Entombed, Grave, Nirvana 2002, Aflicted serta banyak lagi masih menjadi faktor andalan Amorphis merekam kembali Materinya menyusul sukses album Fenomenal pertama mereka " The Karelian Isthmus ". untuk Media promosi lanjutannya, Pihak Label membuatkan Video Clip untuk Lagu terbaik memorability " Black Winter Day ", Powerful and memorable riffs drive these songs, which most often find comfort in a steady, moderate pace and simplistic rhythmic constructions, in which the deep growling vocals blend as a shade of mood, while the drums maintain a fairly straightforward tempo without much in the way of stylistic variation, yet tastefully performed with an ear for rhythmic transition and timing, as each song discovers melodic harmony which carefully guides the way to resolution, either in the form of climactic punctuation, or gentle fade-out. The music transitions seamlessly, maintaining a gliding affect even when convergence occurs abruptly, attributable to the skillfully composed and executed riffs, which, while no longer truly speaking the language of death metal, remain firmly grounded in the spirit of metal, driving songs towards animated conclusions, with the sheen of melancholy common to Finnish metal, yet which is here more closely associated with the enlivened melancholy of Finnish folk music as expressed through the voice of classic metal. ... BRUTALITY dengan " Race Defects ", Pioner Death Metal Brutal asal Tampa, Florida yang eksis sejak Tahun 1986 ini memang saat sekarang meninggalkan banyak kenangan manis dengan konsep signifikannya dan pernah beberapa kali mencoba untuk reuni namun akhirnya Jim Cooker Cs ini harus merelakan salah satu Legend Death Metal terbaik ini harus terkubur selamanya dengan Karya2 Indahnya !, dari materi album ke-2 nya  " When the Sky Turns Black " tahun 1994, Brutality masih membawa Kembali Konsep Dinamis gelapnya era album perdana " Screams of Anguish " tahun 1993, Anyone familiar with the debut will recognize many of the same strengths: a clear and powerful Morrisound mix courtesy of Jim Morris, tightly executed musicianship on par with most of the Florida peers, forceful songwriting cognizant of fluctuating dynamics. If there was one minor evolution of note, it seemed that Brutality had become more focused on the incorporation of melody directly into their hammering rhythms and tremolo guitar lines. tetap menawarkan partisi Death Metal sadis yang didominasi dengan Harmonisasi Hitam mencekam dan Progresi Musik yang dinamis, masih kita nikmati permainan Gitaris handal Bryan Hipp yang tewas tahun 2006 karena Overdosis Narkoba, Bryan Hipp ini pernah memperkuat beberapa barisan Band Populer seperti Cradle Of Filth, Acheron, Diabolic, Blastmaster, etc. There are still some barriers restraining it from the status of a masterpiece, primarily the fact that the majority of its guitar riffs are not individually distinct or masterful enough to scale that height, and the vocals don't have a ton of character to them. However, in every other department, this band soared. Memorable, iconic cover art, good lyrics, potent musicianship, varied songwriting that never numbs the listener. This one ranks just below the debut album, yet it is still much better than many of the better known Death Metal albums from this period. HYPOCRISY dengan " The Abyss " untuk pertama kali secara mengejutkan menampilkan konsep Musik barunya yang jauh berbeda dengan sebelumnya menjauh dari Hingar bingarnya beat cepat Death Metal, en mencoba menggesernya menjadi Melodic Death Metal dengan sentuhan Doom Metal yang kental  setelah Frontman Peter Tägtgren Hijrah dari Negeri paman sam untuk kembali ke Negara asalnya Swedia, dari materi album perubahan " The Fourth Dimension " tahun 1994, Hypocrisy lebih cenderung menawarkan permainan serba Pelan dan Santai dengan sentuhan Melodic Death/Doom Metal, sebuah fakta mengejutkan memang untuk Fans 2 album pertama mereka " Penetralia ( 1992 ) dan Osculum Obscenum ( 1993 ) ", dimana kita sudah tidak akan merasakan gaya Sadis Death Metal Intensif mereka di album ke-3 ini. This album is the classic example of unexpected, surprising, astonishing and unpredictable musical change by a band. When you leave the band to someone competent this is what you get. A great album. Actually, the new efforts by this band are a bit beyond for me and too strange for my tastes but if you want to enjoy the Hypocrisy’s essence, take this one and Abducted. The previous albums were Okay but with these two the things got really yummy. dan Lagu " The Abyss " yang tersedia pada Bonus Track Rilisan Versi Jepang ini kemudian membuat Motivasi Bagi Frontman Peter Tägtgren yang pernah memperkuat barisan Malevolent Creation saat dirinya masih di Amrik dulu, menjadi Inspirasinya Membuat Side project Band Black Metal, The Abyss !! dan telah merilis 2 album sebelum akhirnya membubarkan diri serta Keinginannya untuk membangun studio rekaman bernama The Abyss juga. well Inspiratif ! In these cases the tremolo picking is the most utilized technique while during the other, more melodic, songs the open chords long noted are required to give the right atmosphere. Anyway, it is good to notice that also during the fastest compositions they never abandoned that burden of darkness and occultism..... GOREFEST dengan " Fear ", Goes, Zeeland, Netherland Death metal yang eksis dari tahun 1989 juga telah meninggalkan banyak kenangan pada Penampilan terakhir mereka yang lebih bergaya musik Death'n'Roll jauh dari Konsep Death Metal garang sebelumnya, " Fear " ini dicomot dari materi CD -3 Nya " Erase " yang kemudian juga dirilis dalam Ep " Fear ", monstrous and powerful riffs, groovy drums, fantastic rhythms, solos from a dream, vocal straight from hell, simple and intelligent lyrics and unique arrangements and production. Everything is in the right position - Erase has perfect balance of songs; every song have ideal structure; every drum beat, or guitar tone, or vocal roar is making insane pleasure for a listener. Karakter Growling Garang Alami Vokalis Bassis Jan-Chris de Koeijer tetap Gw idolakan karakternya ! sebuah album yang selanjutnya mengantar kepergeseran Konsep Death Metal awal mereka menjadi Lebih Catchy dan Easy Listening, Duo Gitaris Boudewijn Bonebakker dan Frank Harthoorn mulai lebih mencetuskan elemen pergeseran tersebut. namun walau begitu, secara Komersial album ini sukses secara Komersial. The production was horrid this time. It was extremely polished and utterly dry. Not a single instrument sounds human enough anymore here. Secondly Jan Chris started grunting in the least dynamic way possible. His vocals had become very monotone and straight forward. Almost computerised. as it combines the best of the two worlds. Therefore it could be interesting for Death Metal fans and Metal fans in general alike. However, the band doesn’t seem to belong to this group: “It is - looking back - a typical in between stages album. The music is perfect. Only the power is lacking. It is a musician’s album: too complex and too complicated.” seperti yang dikatakan oleh Gitaris Boudewijn Bonebakker. MESHUGGAH dengan " Vanished " nya adalah sebuah Track yang sebelumnya belum pernah dirilis, Technical Post-Thrash Metal yang akhirnya menjadi salah satu Pioner Pencetus Genre Djent asal Umeå, Swedia sejak terbentuk 1988. " Vanished " ini akhirnya di rilis dalam Ep " Selfcaged " Tahun 1995. Ketangguhan Frontman Tomas Haake Cs ini tetap begitu kuat terasakan Era 90-an dengan Typical Technical Post-Thrash Metal yang Inovatif ! mostly mid-tempo, try out strange but not overtly technical grooves, remain pretty thrashy and are about to change their lyrical themes. Every song is very tight, though unusually composed in the sense that repetition is minimal. It's just a groovy riff after another, with changing dynamics and verses, assorted in an order that will seem pretty unfulfilling first. Slow progression through mechanized emotions is the core of this music. Countless of subtleties make the soundscape rich in its agonizing sterility. Meshuggah portray an impossible state of mind too nasty to touch with mere words. SINISTER Mengaum keras dengan " Diabolical Summoning " yang dicomot dari materi CD terbaru " Diabolical Summoning " tahun 1993. Pioner Death Metal Populer asal Schiedam, South Holland, Netherland yang eksis sejak Tahun 1988 memang mempesona dengan Gaya Death Metal Brutal album pertama " Cross the Styx " tahun 1992, Frontman Aad Kloosterwaard ( Masih Sebagai Drummer .ed ) mampu mengkomposisi Death Metal dengan sounding Keren dari perpaduan ganas konsep Cannibal Corpse dan Suffocation telah menjadi salah satu Sounding Band2 daratan Eropa. Permainan Tremolo Riffing Sadis Andre Tolhuizen memang banyak menyita Perhatian Gw. The best aspect of Sinister's music on "Diabolical Summoning" would definitely be their ability to create music that is heavy and brutal without overdoing it and sounding like a Cannibal Corpse or Suffocation clone, but rather a more extreme version of Malevolent Creation, especially during the song "Magnified Wrath" which comes complete with palm-muted power chords that crush oh so similarly to songs from the masterpiece This record doesn't depend on being evil to get its point across and aside from the intro to "Leviathan," there is never a need for any melody to set a tone or create an atmosphere. Only violent and repulsive riffs are needed for this. Diabolical Summoning is sick, sick enough that any fan of brutal death metal, whether past or ultramodern, should own it and relish its insanity. The riffs are consistently entertaining, and leads sear and the drumming should hold the attention of the more ADD brutes who demand it. I would say this still ranks as my favorite Sinister album. Kemudian Nuclear Blast Records lebih mulai membuka diri untuk lahirnya Genre Metal Baru yang Unik, Death/Doom Metal dengan sentuhan Ambient, Alternative, hard rock/punk rock Dan Jazz dari Band asal Hamburg, Jerman PYOGENESIS meluncur dengan Unreleased Track " Son Of Fate " yang akhirnya disertakan dalam rilisan ulang Ep " Waves of Erotasia " tahun 1996. It's quite rare to find nature-inspired death metal (although it occasionally manages to pop up) and when it does pop up, it usually lacks of the important values: i.e., good production, catchy riffs, nice vocals, etc. Pyogenesis - however; has managed to spark a new flame amongst the almost dead, pissed out fire that is: nature-inspired deathy gothic metal - minus the symphonic sequences. PUNGENT STENCH Selanjutnya melaju Catchy Headbang dengan Track " Tony " yang juga merupakan Unreleased track dari Trio Death Metal Roll Keren asal Vienna, Australia yang eksis sejak 1988 dengan nama Carnage. This is by far their most groove/rock'n'roll influenced album, the vocals remain extreme but the music is almost devoid of actual death metal. band Yang paling Kontroversial Imej-nya era 90-an ini memang terkenal dengan gaya bermain Death Metal Catchy Straightforward terhadap sentuhan Anarko Crusty Punk pada beberapa beat musiknya. dan akhirnya Unreleased Track hanya direkam spesial untuk Kompilasi Label ini " Tony " disertakan dalam album Kompilasi track terbaik mereka tahun 1997 " Praise the Names of the Musical Assassins ". It's a unique take on the morbid insanity that the monster of Pungent Stench is, and it works in creating a whole different way of viewing their subject matter, an example of what the band would sound like had they grown up with EBM and other dark electronics rather than extreme metal and groovy rock'n'roll. MORTIFICATION selanjutnya melesat cepat dengan track " Live By The Sword ", Australian Death Metal Kugiran era 90-an dengan Gaya Bermusik Dinamis plus Lirik2 White Metal ini mengadopsinya dari album CD ke-3 " Blood World ", Vokalis bassis Steve Rowe tidak lagi menunjukkan karakter Growling berat mantapnya, dengan komposisi musik yang cepat, Steve Rowe lebih menggunakan karakter Vokal Old School Death/Thrash-nya dan ini menjadi penampilan perdana dan terakhir kalinya drummer Phil Curlis-Gibson yang disebut2 membawa pengaruh Liar progresi album ke-3 ini. I don’t think this is the first huge shift in musical direction, since from ‘Mortification’ to ‘Scrolls…’ we already had a huge jump to their heaviest, faster most brutal record and then including even industrial elements on Post M.A. clearly states they will always be changing their sound, and I am writing this in 09 when they have evolved since early 90s. and the vocals are no longer death metal alike but more commercial metal and thrash-hardcore elements. Steve has stated that power metal elements are present but honestly, I cannot find anything from power metal anywhere, not in the riffs, or the solos, or drumming. kemudian Pioner Nothern Hyperblast KATAKLYSM tampil garang dengan " Eternal, I Reach Infinity " adalah sebuah Unreleased Track dari era penggarapan materi Ep " The Mystical Gate of Reincarnation " tahun 1993, namun akhirnya disertakan rilisan ulang Ep " The Mystical Gate of Reincarnation " tersebut, ya memang Kataklysm kerap menulis lagu2 spesial yang hanya dihadirkan pada beberapa kompilasi Death... Is Just The Beginning ini. a fan of metal that will escort your spirit through an endless meadow of grinding, sludgy riffs, a haunting vocal display, AND in the same album get you on your feet thrashing about and headbanging in a mad frenzy, brother, this album is for you. Believe me, it is a rarity to find death metal that is this well thought out and executed as brilliantly as a classic piece of literature, not just in today’s ever-growing sludge pile of diluted death metal, but even back in the earlier days of death metal. Owning this album isn’t just owning a rare piece of metal history, it is owning a gateway to an astral dimension of brilliant mysticism and unending rumination. DISSECTION lalu dengan " Night's Blood (1994 Version) " meluncur dengan Melodic Black/Death Metal menawannya ! sebelum ditinggal pergi selamanya ke alam baqa oleh Frontman Jon Nödtveidt pada Insiden Bunuh diri karena keterlibatannya pada ajaran setan, band ini memang memiliki Komposisi Musik yang Menarik sepanjang sejarah-nya. materi lagu " Night's Blood " sendiri diambil dari Demo " Storm of the Light's Bane Rough Mix " yang dirilis oleh Nuclear Blast Records pada tahun 1995 yang akhirnya menjadi awal pula rekaman ulang CD fantastis ke-2 " Storm of the Light's Bane " tahun 1995. opens with a decent thrash riff, only to morph into a blistering melodic tremolo section followed by some brilliant midpaced riffage. While on the subject of riffs, there aren't many on this album, well in the traditional sense. The majority of the rhythms on "Storm of the Light's Bane" are your typical black metal tremolo patterns and the occasional thrashy riff, but for the most part the bulk of this record centers around the melodies that are so perfectly intertwined with the frenzied drumming and Nodtveit's tremendous vocals. sayang banget band potensial asal Stockholm, Swedia yang terbentuk sejak 1989 harus ikut terkubur selamanya dengan Jasad kelam Frontman Jon Nödtveidt dialam Baqa setelah album terakhirnya " REINKAOS " tahun 2006 dirilis oleh     Black Horizon. Re-listening to Dissection reminded me that every album is a singular phenomenon, and you can never go into a listening experience simply hoping for the music to conform to your ideas of what it should be. Great music always confounds expectations and complicates assumptions. When I heard this for the first time, I was so wrapped up in my (newly formed) ideas about what black metal should be that I forgot to hear Dissection telling me what it is. lalu EXIT 13 dengan " Ethos Musick " dari album penting Perkembangan Grindcore dengan sentuhan Death/Thrash Unik asal Millersville, Pennsylvania, Amrik dimotori oleh salah satu Pemilik Label Relapse Records, William J. Yurkiewicz Jr dan Bassis Dan Lilker yang punya band Grind sangar, Brutal Truth ! dengan memadukan elemen Sampling dan Power Electronics. diambil dari materi album ke-2 Nya " Ethos Musick " tahun 1994 rilisan Relapse records dan Nuclear Blast records sendiri adalah salah satu Distributor terbesar-nya. Think of a slightly slower, exponentially heavier, rougher around the edges, more grinding Brutal Truth and you won't be far off the mark. Indeed, the prodigious use of blast beats sound very 'Truth–like. To the casual listener, the bands are similar, but look a little deeper and the differences are obvious. While BT were at the time were generally fairly straight forward musically, some of the songs here will occasionally drop out of full on grindcore fury into an old time rock 'n roll beat, an acoustic guitar passage or a prog rock improvised guitar solo. INCANTATION dengan " Nocturnal Dominium " mencoba mengenalkan materi album ke-2 nya " Mortal Throne of Nazarene " Tahun 1994 dibawah bendera Relapse Records, Frontman Gitaris John McEntee membawa Pengaruh Bermusik Mortician dan Immolation untuk menciptakan Elemen Occultisme gelap Incantation. melanjutkan konsep Hitam album pertama " Onward to Golgotha ", Vokalis gitaris Craig Pillard membawa karakter Vokal Horrific untuk mendominasi Struktur musik yang kerap diselimuti dengan Kegelapan. Imagine all the furnaces of hell devouring the earth through a wind tunnel of eternal hatred. This immeasurable hate, so pure and uncompromising, is fueled by the omniscient fury of blast beats, tremolo picking, and the evilest, lowest vocals To enter this scorched and vitriolic realm is to at once pass the point of no return. Incantation manifests its bestial malignancy in the form of devastatingly brutal death metal, complete with some of the most dismal, diabolical doom ever recorded. If ever there was a death/doom album, this is the end-all be-all. I was also surprised that Lars took over guitar duties and does so quite well. is a great Swedish black metal album with great melodic ideas splattered throughout. The vocals are a nice median between thrash shouts and grunted death metal growls which suits the music quite well since the style is a hybrid of death and thrash metal. are filled with fast vicious riffing and double bass lines without losing focus on songstructures. There is also a lot of powerfull mid tempo riffing accompanied by a ferious shouter spitting out mankind threatening issues. CONVULSE dengan Track " Years Of Decay " menjadi Track pertama di CD ke-2 ini. Death 'n' Roll kenamaan asal Nokia, Finlandia yang terbentuk dari Tahun 1990 dengan nama S.D.S. adalah sebuah band dengan genre Speed Metal. mengambil materi dari Album Ke-2 Mereka " Reflections " Tahun 1994 Via Relapse Records, band ini menyuguhkan permainan Death N Roll kental dengan Karakter Swedish Sound In The Vein Dismember atau Entombed merekam materinya di Sunlight Studios, Swedia. dengan typical bermain yang mengingatkan Gw dengan Pungent Stench Atau Gorefest era " Erase ", Convulse lebih banyak menawarkan aransemen musik yang Catchy dan Roll. Convulse’s second album expecting to hear good ol’ fashioned death metal that you were raised on since you were a wee lad, you might be returning to your local record store a Very unhappy camper; unless you listen to the album, keeping an open mind and not expecting anything in particular. I may have convinced you that this is a shit album, or some sort of sell-out not worth your time, but it’s quite the opposite. Any fan of metal who hasn’t heard any Death N roll material should definitely give this album a spin, for it is quite the refreshing experience. While most of the album has been fairly light hearted and increasingly cheesy, “Years of Decay” is a call back to Convulse’s good old death metal days, with a riff sounding like a rock band covering a death metal song. This is the closest thing to a real death metal song as you’re going to get folks, so enjoy it. DIVINE EVE melalui " Velvet Of The Godless " dari album , masih kental mengusung gaya Old School Death metal dengan Raw Sounding cukup mengingatkan dengan beberapa demo lawas Swedish Death Metal Dismember, Entombed, Carnage hingga Grave banget. Doom/Death Metal Dengan sentuhan Grindcore asal Plano, Texas, Amrik ini eksis sejak 1992 dengan nama Catharsis, hingga saat ini band ini masih belum memiliki Full album selain Demo, Ep, Spli dan Kompilasi album pernah menampilkan drummer Kyle Severn dari Incantation. materi " Velvet Of The Godless " diambil dari Demo Promo 1994 yang khabarnya akan pernah dirilis Oleh Nuclear Blast Records dan Candlelight Records dalam format Vynil namun sayang tidak terealisasi, padahal band ini pertama kali Gw kenal adalah lewat Ep " As the Angels Weep " tahun 1993 dilepas oleh Nuclear Blast Records. All the right things within this genre are done right; there's some brilliantly executed tempo changes, competent and passionate musicianship, and one hell of a production job that matches rawness, thickness (the guitar tones!) and clarity with disturbing ease. A really excellent release and it's a shame Divine Eve never really followed this up. lalu HORDE dengan " Invert The Inverted Cross", Black Metal band Melbourne, Victoria, Australia adalah One Man Project serius dari Anonymous alias Jayson Sherlock yang merupakan mantan Member Mortification, terbentuk sejak tahun 1994, band ini hanya mempunyai 1 member, sedangkan untuk urusan Penampilan panggung hanya melibatkan Musisi pendukung saja. namun begitu Boss Nuclear Blast, Markus Staiger sangat menyukai Typical bermain band ini yang Pure Black Metal Tradisional dan sanggup menjadi Executive Produser untuk album pertama ini. There is the familiar hissing in the background, the crackling static of the guitars as they blend together in storms of white noise, and Anonymous' vocals shrieking and snarling in the background with tons of echo. But there is also some heavy bass presence to the sound as well, and it somehow sidesteps that thin, half-alive coldness that Darkthrone. The kick drum can actually be heard on this record, and it really gives the roaring music some extra power. The drums are performed in typical black metal fashion and not technical at all, although Jayson is very skilled and he provides interesting patterns to keep you throughout the album. The rhythm guitars sound fussy, purposely and are not intended to provide any other thing but this cold atmosphere typical to early black metal. CELESTIAL SEASON selanjutnya memperkenalkan Track " Above Azure Oceans " , Doom/Death Metal asal Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands yang terinspirasi dengan Konsep bermain band2 Inggris. mencomot dari materi Demo " Promo 1994 ", konsep band ini lebih banyak mengingatkan dengan in the Vein My Dying Bride dan Paradise Lost, that bellow-barrage of Tyrannosaurus vocals stomping all over insatiable dirge rhythms charged with the cheer of the homeless, the foundation for the atmospheric style that had mostly a love-hate relationship with fans. Cries of boredom were common. So were salutes to the obscure. Also similar was the literary connotation - duskish and transcendent in its beauty, the stuff that makes budding writers pick up a pencil and wax on poetic, we could only assume the group's appreciation for lyrics from the titles and assimilating them to other bands whose league they were working their way into. MEATLOCKER selanjut melaju beda dengan Lagu " Oi Hate ", Crossover/Thrash asal Florida Amrik bentukan dari mantan Gitaris band Intruder, Rotten Ron Hanisco ! dengan Kualitas sounding yang Keren digarap di Morrisound Studios, menyuguhkan gaya Crossover/Thrash dengan sentuhan Punk Rock yang kental, sayang banget Gw kurang begitu menikmati sajian genre ini, I'm Sorry. EMINENZ lalu meluncur dengan " Dark Millenium ", Black/Death Metal band pertama di Scene Jerman yang eksis sejak Tahun 1989 dan pernah membuka Konser Mayhem dijerman tahun 1990. mencomot track tersebut dari materi album pertama " Exorial " via Lethal Records setelah merilis 5 Demo-nya. dengan Komposisi Pure Black Metal yang Tradisional banget melalui Raw Sounding, Not that either the band or the music on this album is bad by default, quite on the contrary, their unique style is quite charming in itself. It could be best described as old-school atmospheric Death Metal, a bit similar to Thou Shalt Suffer or the Darkthrone debut in aesthetic, but more simplistic instrumentally, and more epically arranged (songs average above six minutes), and with a solid touch of blackened atmosphere that carries a slight Samael or Rotting Christ note with a bit more dramatic pomp in the keyboards (perhaps comparable to a way darker version of the more epic outfits of traditional Heavy Metal - Maiden and Manowar come to mind). kemudian PHOBIA, Grindcore Pioner andalan Orange County, California yang eksis sejak Tahun 1990 pimpinan frontman Vokalis Shane Mclachlan meraung dengan Track " Degrading Humanity " Meluncur cepat dan ganas dari materi Ep " Return to Desolation " Tahun 1993 yang dirilis oleh Relapse Records, masih dengan gaya Raw Sounding dan sentuhan kental elemen death Metal, terlalu Naif bila Phobia ini Gw sebut sebagai " Pure " grindcore band ! It's filled with some very catchy riffing from beginning to end that varies from mid-tempo to all out blasting. This is a great way to start everything off. Next up is the title track. It begins with a series of headbanging thrash riffs and even has a nifty guitar solo at the end, but the rest of the song consists of boring snare blastbeats with very little depth. The same lifeless grind blasting continues is a slightly above average release of thrashy death/grind ! lalu SEPTICFLESH dengan " Return To Carthage " dari materi Album perdana mereka " Mystic Places of Dawn " tahun 1994 via Holy Records, dedengkot Pioner Metal asli Athens, Attica, Greece sejak tahun 1990 tetap mencoba konsis dengan konsep Atmospheric/Symphonic Death Metal, beberapa sentuhan Sampling Keyboard memang lebih menambah elemen Atmospheric/Symphonic pada komposisi musik yang mereka tawarkan sejak pertama. tampil Trio bukan menjadi Halangan Bagi band ini untuk melaju Unik kencang dengan Full album pertama ini. Mystic Places of Dawn sports a fitting name, representing both the dawning of a new, suffocating vision along with the mind-bending mystery surrounding it. It's an album cloaked in melancholic beauty, churning deep with macabre doom riffs and a crestfallen atmosphere so penetrating that it breathes life into its own murky corridors. Almost nowhere to be found are the potent symphonic elements so prevalent on later albums like Communion; this is a pure ritual founded on the flesh and blood of ancient gods. a crushing wonder of a song that features impeccable violin accompaniment during a whimsical midsection. symphonic ambiance, and it never gets boring for a second. MORTICIAN, Grindhorror Populer asal Yonkers, New York / Long Pond, Pennsylvania yang sudah eksis dari 1989 menyerang dengan Intensitas Death/grind sangar dan singkat dari album full perdananya " Hacked Up for Barbecue " Tahun 1996 via Relapse records, sebagai salah satu band Populer dirosternya Matthew F. Jacobson, Mortician akhirnya lebih populer sebagai band pengusung tema2 Film Horror. The music itself has a very minimalistic approach to song-writing, with songs often featuring only 2-3 riffs which take after the likes of Celtic Frost, Morbid Angel, and Obituary. While simple, the riffs are catchy all at the same time. Other songs show off a slower, doomier sound similar to what Bolt Thrower and Incantation were doing at the time, most notably the brooding insanity. The typical song on this album is some lame sound byte of a guy getting chopped up (for like half the song’s length), a few seconds of super-distorted bass, then the song. BELPHEGOR dengan " In Remembrance Of Hate And Sorrow ", Salzburg, Austria Black/Death memperkenalkan Materi Full album pertamanya " The Last Supper " via Lethal Records yang fenomenal sebagai awal kemunculan Belphegor dengan typical kejam Death/Black Metal dengan Lirik2 Anti tuhan ! The Last Supper is full of ominous black metal riffing supported by a ton of fast and unrelenting drumming and two different vocals used interchangeably. Very energetic. BUT it would get pretty old after a while if that’s all there was. Behold, drawn-out melodic sections, rhythmic and variable drumming, a few atmospheric intermissions, even guitar solos that could’ve easily been snagged from some 80’s thrash anthem. The diverse vocal styles also help make this album more exciting. Constantly shifting between death metal growls and black metal shrieks is almost always a great touch (see: Arkhon Infaustus) and let’s you know: yes this band is crazy. Don’t fuck with Belphegor; they will not only torture you in the name of satan but probably devour your mangled carcass afterwards. ACHERON dengan " Slaughterization For Satan " dari album full ke-2nya " Lex Talionis " Via Lethal Records. band yang sebelumnya bermarkas di Tampa, Florida ini memang menjadi Kontroversial pada materi album pertama mereka " Rites of the Black Mass " Tahun 1992 yang lyric lagunya banyak di sadur dari Buku Satanic Bibble setelah Frontman Gitaris Vincent Crowley menjadi Pengikut Gereja Setan Pimpinan Dr. Anton Szandor LaVey's ! memang fenomenal banget Reputasinya pada era 90-an. Once again Acheron present straightforward, aggressive and pretty simple, yet very hard-hitting and effective Satanic old-school death metal. Just like on the debut, Acheron don’t use any blast beats at all here, “Lex Talionis” is a good choice for those of you who like death metal but don’t care for blast beats. Many times you can understand the lyrics without reading them at the same time and Vince also sounds like he means what he says. The lyrics are very direct, no hard to understand metaphors used here! Mr Crowley simply rams his message down your throat totally unapologetically. dan Lethal Records sendiri menjadi rekanan Dekat dengan Nuclear Blast records, label yang bermarkas di Austria milik Michael Piesch Vokalis band Totennacht dan Werwolf ini memang banyak merilis Band dengan genre Black/Death sebelum akhirnya menutup selamanya label ini. DECEASED melaju dengan " The Triangle ", Pioner Death/Thrash Arlington, Virginia yang dikenal sebagai Band pertama bergabung dengan Roster Relapse records ini mencoba memperkenalkan materi album Full Ke-2nya " The Blueprints for Madness " Tahun 1995 via Relapse records masih kental memainkan Genre Death/Thrash yang Khas Deceased banget ! For while its riffing variation and the horror-borne atmosphere through the album are nearly as potent as its successor Fearless Undead Machines, the production here pretty much kills the deal, holding it back from that plateau of greatness they've since achieved and, in my humble opinion, never stepped down from. It isn't that this album lacks charisma, but the guitar tracking in particular leaves much to desire, and I'd almost love to hear a remix of Blueprints. Keep the music, toss in better leads, and certainly keep the incredible with the lyrics and concepts behind the songs here are classic sci-fi weird/horror which Deceased have proven one of the best at translating into the medium. Dani Filth Cs ini masih tampil dengan Formasi terbaik mereka untuk menciptakan Masterpiece Symphonic Black Metal Fantastis di era 90-an sekaligus melambungkan nama mereka jadi Sukses secara Komersial pada setiap Rilisannya. The symphonic approach is evident: orchestral strings and pizzicato strings create the most beautiful instrumental melody Cradle of Filth ever had in its history, and they just make you wish for more black metal Cradle. Sadly, the song fades away, and thus finishes the album. this is the best Cradle of Filth album. Its melodies are catchy and atmospheric, the rawness of the recording brings a great black metal feel and Dani's screeches aren't as annoying as on Vempire or Dusk and Her Embrace. If only Cradle would've recorded Vempire, Dusk, Cruelty and Midian with the same quality as Principle, not only would they be a little more respected in black metal circles, but probably they might be able to dethrone Dimmu Borgir from being my favorite ex-black metal band. Murder Metal MACABRE kemudian tampil memukau dengan " Fishtales " dari Ep " Behind the Wall of Sleep " tahun 1994 via Nuclear Blast records yang awalnya adalah rekaman materi Demo yang direkam oleh enjiner Vance Campbell of EyeGouger. Trio Asal Downers Grove, Illinois yang eksis sejak 1984 yang khabarnya adalah band Death Metal pertama yang memadukan elemen Grindcore elemen. masih dengan Karakteristik khas Vokal Unik, Blastbeated Drumming Rapat dan Dinamic Bassist, Macabre selalu mengusung Konsep bermusik yang Unik pula tanpa melepas ikatan kuat Attitude Death/grind killer-nya ! as Macabre often does, death metal with some folk songs. Since, as I mentioned before, the theme is sailor songs, is a mid tempo, but undeniable heavy tune. Corporate Death alternates his high pitched death metal growl with the lower one, showing Macabre’s unique style. Too bad the production makes it sound as an illegible ball of sound. CANDIRU berikutnya menawarkan konsep Industrial metal dengan pengaruh Kuat In The Vein Godflesh ! meski hanya menggunakan Eksperimen Drum Machine dan beberapa Sampling, Band asli Camp Hill, California yang eksis sejak 1991 ini adalah bentukan Frontman Pat McCahan dari Exit 13. Track " Stained " ini sendiri sebelumnya belum pernah dirilis dan akhirnya oleh D-Trash Records dimasukkan dalam materi album Ke-2 nya " Unreleased and Dug Out " menyusul Sukses Penampilan Album perdana mereka " Unloved and Weeded Out " tahun 1993 via Relapse Records. The band was highly experimental; more of an experimentation with drum machines and samples than actual metal. Some songs were repeated samples over drum beats, some were guitar driven songs with random sampling. KONKHRA dengan " Chaos To Climb " selanjutnya mencoba memborbardir dengan sentuhan Intens Death Metal enerjik attitude-nya ! salah satu Pioner Death Metal Kebanggaan Denmark Scene ini tentu reputasinya begitu Populer di Era 90-an sejak terbentuk tahun 1989 memiliki Karakter Sounding yang Ciamik ! dari materi album perdana " Sexual Affective Disorder " via Progress Records, Band ini cukup tampil fantastis mengagumkan dengan Konsep yang premier Death/Thrash Dinamis abis ! walau direkam di Sunlight Studio, band ini malah tidak tampil familiar dengan sounding yang dibuat oleh Enjiner Tomas Skogsberg yang selalu terkenal dengan karakter Swedish Sound-nya. Lebih terasa Tajam Mengiris dengan Komposisi Musik enerjik dan Dinamis menjadi Kekuatan ampuh menancapkan taring tajam pertamanya di kancah Extreme Metal ! Gitaris Legendaris Death Metal populer seperti James Murphy saja pernah tertarik dengan Konsepsional Konkhra sehigga memutuskan pernah memperkuat Formasinya pada Tahun 1997-1999, dan 2009. dan masih dari Scene Denmark, Giliran ILLDISPOSED, band yang awalnya selalu tampil kontroversial dengan beberapa aksi Vandalisme-nya ini melaju garang dengan " Whithering Teardrops " yang dicomot dari Ep " Return from Tomorrow " tahun 1994 via Nuclear Blast Records, dan aslinya Ep ini punya Titel asli panjang sebagai "Return from Tomorrow - Attitudes and Long Term Adjustment of Patients Surviving Cardiac Arrest" ini Illdisposed masih sangat sadis menawarkan Karakteristik Death Metal gahar ! sementara waktu itu Gw sendiri sangat suka dengan album pertama mereka " Four Depressive Seasons " tahun 1993 di Progress Records. all the riffing is super predictable, with mercilessly overused chord progressions that you've heard in every melodeath song ever, but they're just SO DAMNED GOOD that you can't help but love them. On another note, the lyrics are borderline incoherent with a lot of cool stanzas which have no relation to each other at all. But then again, it just adds to the attitude, as if the entire band just walked into a bar without pants and you're afraid to point it out because you'll be struck repeatedly. agak mendinginkan suasana adalah penampilan berikutnya dari Doom/Death Metal inovatif asal New York City WINTER yang eksis mulai Tahun 1988, Trio Doom/Death Metal ini mencoba memperkenalkan Ep " Eternal Frost " Tahun 1994 setelah sukses dikenal lewat album pertamanya " Into Darkness " tahun 1994 masih bersama Nuclear Blast Records. Ep ini sendiri mulai memasukkan elemen instrumental / ambient track semakin menambah Imej Desperatif dan Sorrow-nya. a band that gleefully combined Celtic Frost obsessed death metal with crusty punk noises and a generally ecological lyrical outlook. If you’re already a fan of bands like Amebix or Hellbastard, you’ll be well informed to dive right in here, but if you ain’t let me explain. If you take the generally raw and bristled sound of most hardcore punk and combine it with growling, grunting vocals and an eye towards writing slow and syrupy riffs with tempos that are mid-tempo at their speediest, you’ll have a notion of the “crust” sound at it’s core. one mother of a doomy feel, truly lumbering and painful riffing !! dan penampilan Terakhir CD ke-2 ini di akhiri oleh Track " Unrest "nya milik American grindcore/crust punk Legendaris, DISRUPT dari album Full Pertama secara Mainstream " Unrest " Tahun 1994 via Relapse Records setelah sebelumnya lebih banyak merilis Rilisan Independen. menambah Nilai Jual lagi, Nuclear Blast Records pada Kompilasi Andalan Jilid ke 3 ini menambahkan Bonus Poster Ukuran 12x12 pada box Kemasan digipak dan VHS Terbatas hanya 3000 Kopi. Semua materinya dimastering di TTM Mastering, Berlin. sementara Kristian Wahlin yang banyak menulis Informasi terkait lagu dalam Booklet CDnya. menjawab banyaknya permintaan Konsuman, Jilid Ke-3 kompilasi ini pun mengalami beberapa kali Rilisan Ulang dalam Berbagai Format. menjadi sebuah Rilisan Memorable deh untuk semua rilisan kompilasi Death...
