Selama ini memang belum pernah Gw menulis review tentang Genre Folk Metal dari Scene Czech Republic, selain dari Negara Finlandia, Jerman, Amerika, etc, Czech Republic scene memang terlalu dipenuhi dengan band2 Death Metal dan Grindcore. Radgorath sendiri sebenarnya masih memadukan elemen Death Metal yang kental dalam Progresi Folky-nya. debutan independen ini adalah menyambung sukses dikenal mereka sebelumnya lewat single " Wolfhunt " tahun 2010 lalu yang mendapat respon hangat sehingga Radgorath melanjutkan agresi bermusiknya lewat Full album pertama yang semuanya dikerjakan secara Independen. melalui karakter kuat Extreme Folk Metal yang banyak dipengaruhi oleh typical bermainnya Arkona, Pagan Reign, Ensiferum serta Eluiveitie, Radgorath semakin percaya diri konsepnya siap meramaikan Genre Folk Metal ! masih menggunakan Style Vokal Growl death Metal, alunan Folky Radgorath sendiri memang lebih banyak dipengaruhi gaya Riffing yang serba melodius ciamik dalam 8 lagu yang mereka tawarkan dalam total durasi 33:07 rasanya cukuplah untuk menampilkan citra ekspresi Radgorath dikancah metal. beberapa nuansa yang begitu Doom Metal ala Amorphis dan Paradise Lost amat mewakili karakter band ini pada sebuah Jeda-nya, memang terasa lebih Kompleks struktur musik yang ditawarkan disini. seperti sebuah pertarungan sengit antara Amorphis dengan Ensiferum saja layaknya, kerja keras membernya kerap menciptakan sesuatu yang folky banget, dengan sentuhan Headbanger Part siap membuat kelam atmosfir ruang dengar kalian melalui beberapa sentuhan Gaya Pagan Folk metal-nya Arkona. tema lirik lagunya memang kental elemen Paganism dan Slavic Old-Belief bisa tercermin pada hampir setiap struktur kalimatnya. The epic feeling of this record almost never fades though it lasts around one hour, which is unusually long for release of this kind. The only letdown may be which is more or less a filler, but it only seems like the band was stepping back to jump further as, right after a little one-minute long transition of natural sounds, greatness kicks in again with the both crushing, another highlight of the album this time reminiscent of the bombastic Folky metal of Melodic. And it’s another epic journey which will last until the closing track, by far the softest here with its melodic, almost melancholic ending, but far from being the weakest. I don’t know exactly how many different instruments are used on this album, but it seems again rather unbelievable – you won’t regret it a single bit. Forget cheesiness, ridicule or monotony which often plague the genre.
