Drift Of Genes yang sebenarnya adalah One Man project yang sudah mulai merasakan " Muak " dengan Konsep Cyber yang sampai saat ini masih begitu sulit melepaskan kesan tersebut, namun jelas tidak untuk Drift Of Genes yang dimotori oleh Pemuda Cerdas ber-nick name Spasm asal kota Debaltsevo, Ukraine yang semenjak tahun 2008 sudah membentuk Proyek ini. dengan dibantu oleh Drummer Kim saat rekaman di Studio, rupanya dua manusia ini mewakili karakter dan Ego bermain musik band ini sendiri, Kim yang juga menjadi Mixing, Mastering, Cover art, dan Layout Rilisan perdana ini jelas memberikan Kontribusi yang baik untuk karya perdana ini menjadi Masterpiece ! konseptor utama band ini tetap pada nama Spasm yang memainkan semua instrumen kecuali drum telah menciptakan gaya Bermain Brutal Death Metal yang dinamis yang Imej-nya sangat jauh dari Kesan Cyber metal ! Surprise banget begitu pertama kali gw mendengar debutan ini yang dimulai dengan " Stimulation " yang adalah Acoustik Intro Part simple dengan nuansa yang Desperatif banget sebelum gw disuguhkan dengan siksaan mengerikan pada track " Raped by a Zombie ", tentu Sentuhan Old School Death Metal dengan Hentakan mematikan Karakter Utama The Mighty Cannibal Corpse adalah yang pertama kali Gw tangkap di track ini. Low Guttural Gurgling Vokill seperti tetap menjadi sebuah Amunisi mengerikan disini rupanya siap menjadi Trademark selain Lirik2 tentang Kematian dan Horror ini. Tradisional Riffing Old School ala Obituary, Morta Skuld dan beberapa sentuhan Groovy Dying Fetus tetap gw tangkap hampir disemua Karakter bermusiknya, memang kadang terdengar simple, namun karena Olah Struktur lagunya memang menciptakan tantangan tersendiri untuk track yang tidak membuat kesan Boring dilakukan oleh Drift Of genes ini. kadang pula Nuansa Catchy Goregrind terdapat pada beberapa Aransemennya melalui sedikit Bumbu Tremolo Sliding Riffing yang Fantastis. mungkin bagi gw secara musikalitas band ini masih mencari Konsepsional Musikalitas Death Metal, sehingga ada banyak sentuhan Genre Musik yang terasakan dalam 11 lagu berbau darah dan kematian ini, dan yang membuat Gw enjoy lagi saat Drift Of Genes meng-cover ulang lagu lawas Obituary yang sangat Fenomenal " Killing Time " dalam Konsep Band ini, sehingga nuansa baru akan bisa kita tangkap dari progresi dan skill musisi band ini tidak main2 dalam mengutak atik Track band lain.
