WYKKED WYTCH ..... Led by the demonic vocal assault of frontwoman Ipek, Wykked Wytch is a female-fronted extreme metal band hailing from South Florida. The band blends a unique mixture of black, death, thrash metal with melody, technicality, and aggression to create their own signature sound which has gained them a strong cult following throughout the world. yupz !! awal kemunculan band yang eksis sejak Tahun 1994 bermarkas di Miami, Florida ini memang banyak mengundang perhatian dengan konsep Musik yang mereka mainkan adalah " The Sounds Of Norway Replicated Florida Style " seperti yang pernah diungkapkan oleh editor media metal ternama Kerrang, ini memang seperti Pertemuan Liar antara Angela Gossow-nya Arch Enemy dengan Dani Filth -nya Cradle Of Filth Saja ! Big Ethereal Italian Goth Keyboards..Interesting Acoustic Guitar/Piano/Violin Intros...Front-Woman Ipek, She Sings, That Is Screams, Her Ass Off With A Vengeance, Is Simply A Good Album Full Of Heavy And Symphonic-Like Black Death Metal Shored Up With Many Sweeping Structures And Intelligent Riffs And Solo’s That, Unexpectedly, Sound Quite Un-American dan malah band ini lebih respect menyebut musiknya sebagai " Blackened Technical Death Metal ", gw aja untuk pertama kalinya juga sempat heran dengan komposisi musik yang dihadirkannya hehehehe, " The Ultimate Deception " sendiri menjadi album penuh ke-5 yang saat ini tetap menyisakan Frontman Cewek, Ipek sebagai Motor kuat Wykked Wytch tetap menebarkan lirik2 Anti tuhannya. composed nine badass tunes that add a whole new dimension and flavor to the band's constantly evolving sound. Taking a modern approach to the group's already established sound, the songs are heavy, technical, and melodic with each one standing on its own. Ini juga menjadi Debut perdana Kemampuan talenta bagi Komposer, Gitaris, Bassis Nate Poulson untuk mengerjakan juga beberapa Drum Programming selain juga menampilkan Drummer terbaik yang banyak menggunakan Jasanya, Kevin talley sebagai session musician compliments the songs with his killer double bass and blast work !! well tantangan baru en tersendiri lagi aja untuk kiprah Seorang Kevin Talley memainkan skill dasyatnya di album ini. materinya sendiri sudah sejak April - Mei 2011 digarap di Lambesis Studios, San Diego, CA dengan enjiner Daniel Castleman yang sukses menggarap materinya Winds Of Plague dan As I Lay Dying, lalu Proses Mixingnya oleh Alan Douches ( The Black Dahlia Murder, The Dillinger Escape Plan ) dan Final masteringnya di West West Side Music, New Windsor, NY. dan inilah masterpiece yang dihasilkan memang sedasyat Kemampuan nama2 Populer tersebut yang langsung dimulai dengan Track pertama " Birthing the Beast ", dimulai dengan sebuah gaya Ethereal Italian Goth Keyboards mencekam selama 1 menitan kemudian disusul dengan hentakan Rapat Twin pedal Liar, allowing the music to slowly build up the climax and fortunately, up to the start of the song proper, this does not disappoint and lead to any awkwardness. But it does not take long for the band to really go into full speed, with band mastermind Ipek displaying her vocal abilities through the layering of clean vocals on top of her growls, providing a somewhat haunting effect on the music. She also experiments with various different vocal styles, with times where she uses an almost-spoken style of vocals and while her attempt to include interesting sounds is commendable, at times they do sound off, bringing down the quality of the album slightly and almost makes the songs sound core-ish. komposisi Musik dengan struktur yang oriental banget dengan segala genre coba memadukan aransemen Bar demi Bar menciptakan konsep musik unik bagi pendengar yang terbiasa mencerna jenis musik ini, perpaduan karakternya memang sulit ditebak arahnya, sehingga memang butuh konsentrasi tersendiri untuk dapat merasakan apa yang dimainkan band ini, hadewww, tapi sentuhan Extreme metal-nya begitu kuat banget ! The music itself though, for the most part, sounds powerful (partially thanks to the excellent production job of the album), with guitarist Nate displaying his versatility through the different styles of playing, and this is evident right from the opening track Birthing the Beast, which itself contains numerous different styles, ranging from furious black metal-styled trem-picking to melodic death metal-inspired riffs to almost neo-classical influenced shredding on the solo. And of course, this is topped by the powerful battery by guest drummer Kevin Talley, with his relentless and consistent pounding on the skins, and moments on the album that are punctuated by the stellar display of his technical capabilities on his kit. " The Ultimate Deception " bahkan opening Part-nya lebih mengarah ke Brutal Death Metal Style dengan Sound Kental Floridan Sound Excellent ! en denger sendiri aja bagaimana High Screamin Insane Vokalis Ipek Terkuras Garang Tenggorokannya di Track ini, kemudian menggunakan juga Karakter Growling Beratnya, lagi2 beberapa Struktur musik Oriental unik terdapat pada track ini mengurangi sedikit Pure Death Metal Style-nya. dan memang butuh kejelian tersendiri untuk merasakan segala tantangan konsep musik " Unik " Liar di album ini, terlalu penuh dengan surprising dan Hentakan Blastbeat yang kuat. Apart from the technical aspects of the songs, the band also manages to express their emotions accordingly throughout the album, and the number of influences that they have put into the writing of the album has managed to shine through, with no two tracks on the album sounding the same. Songs like Serpents Among Us, despite having an aggressive start, also take a slow down with the melodic solo by guitarist Nate. Unfortunately though, there are some influences of the band that have been included that drag down the album. dan yang unik lagi Band ini juga mengcover ulang Track Fenomenalnya Metallica " Fade To Black " menjadi lebih sinting lagi aransemennya, Gw jamin James Hetfield bakalan Mengerutkan dahinya kalau Lagu andalannya menjadi kacau begini aransemennya, yang jelas unik dan liar abis hahaha, Sebuah Kerja keras yang maksimal bagi frontman Ipek dan Gitaris Nate Poulson terlebih lagi Kevin Talley untuk mencurahkan segala kemampuannya untuk Dimensi Musik Unik seperti ini. mungkin memang ada kalanya elo mesti coba dengerin karya Oriental metal sinting yang seperti ini, coz sensasinya Gw jamin bikin elo teradiksi untuk terus menikmatinya setiap waktu, hadir juga dengan artwork desain cover menarik karya Marcelo Vasco yang juga pernah menggarap artworknya Band Dimmu Borgir dan The Faceless. To be honest, the album does sound good with the production quality and the abilities of the individual musicians on the recording, but unfortunately suffers from inconsistency and lack of memorable moments. NICE AND KILLER TO KEEP TRY THIS NOW, STAY BEWARE WITH ORIENTAL ELEMENTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
